He is my first boyfriend. I met him at a school dance last year. My best friend had a class with him, and she became good friends with him, which is partially why I got to know him better. He was on my bus freshman year, so I kinda knew him, but it wasn’t until the Harvest Fair in our town this past fall that I really got to know him. I was the one who made the first move. I offered him a ride home. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it was a start.

I started hanging out with him, and we went to a football game together. At the time he didn’t know I was crushing on another guy. He figured out that he liked me at the game. I got the impression the next week that he was crushing on me. Four days after I found out that he liked me, I asked him out. We’ve been going out ever since.
